Composites

Piezo Technologies can provide custom piezoelectric composite materials. Composites are an alternative to standard piezomaterials for certain applications. They have both an active piezoceramic material and a passive material such as an epoxy or polymer, and are assembled in a unique manner. The composites we can provide are typically 1-3 Composites, which means that the piezoceramic material is continuous in one direction. 1-3 composites can provide lower acoustic impedance, higher coupling coefficient and other benefits.
