K-182 Modified Lead Zirconate Titanate / PZT Piezo Ceramic

PZT-2, hard PZT

K-182 is a modified lead zirconate titanate piezoelectric ceramic similar to K-183, but with a slightly higher dielectric constant. This PZT piezoelectric material has high thickness and lateral coupling coefficients with low permittivity and high temperature stability.

This PZT material can be used in high frequency thickness and lateral resonance applications, such as ultrasonic delay lines. The high “kt” makes K-182 usable in some medium range frequency small diameter transducer applications.
