K-278 modified lead zirconate titanate is a PZT ceramic for use in high-power applications. Its piezoelectric activity level is comparable to that of K-270. This Navy Type PZT material has a very high mechanical Q-factor and extremely low dissipation factor with a unique power handling capability.
