K-81

Piezo Technologies’ K-81 is a modified lead metaniobate piezoelectric ceramic with the following outstanding characteristics:

• Low mechanical Q makes the K-81 piezoelectric ceramic well suited for use in flaw detectors, thickness gages and in applications where a broad bandwidth is desirable.
• Negligible aging of the piezoelectric constant increases the stability and reliability of transducers made from K-81.
• Extremely stable piezoelectric activity at very high temperatures.
• The high stability of dielectric constant and piezoelectric constant with variations of temperature and pressure make the K-81 piezoelectric ceramic well suited for deep water and high temperature transducer applications.
