K-81 Modified Lead Metaniobate Piezo Ceramic

K-81 is a modified lead metaniobate piezoelectric ceramic.
- Low mechanical Q is well suited for use in flaw detectors, thickness gauges, and other applications where wide bandwidth is desirable.
- Negligible aging of the piezoelectric properties provides long term stability and reliability of transducers.
- Extremely stable piezoelectric activity over long term exposure to 200°C and higher.
- High stability at elevated temperature and pressure for deep water and downhole transducers.
- Low lateral coupling is well suited for high sensitivity (V/Pa) receivers and hydrophones.
- Stable poling allows fabrication of ceramics down to 150 kHz thickness resonance.
