K-85 Modified Lead Metaniobate Piezo Ceramic

K-85 is a modified lead metaniobate piezoelectric ceramic.

• Low mechanical Q for use in flaw detectors, thickness gauges, and other wide bandwidth applications.
• Negligible aging of the piezoelectric properties for long term stability and reliability of transducers is needed.
• Formulated for use in non-destructive testing transducers at frequency operation of 5MHz and below and in immersion applications such as ultrasonic level gauges.
• Preferred lead metaniobate for applications requiring higher dielectric and piezoelectric output or higher signal to noise ratio.
