Modified Lead Titanate
Nova 3B modified lead titanate piezoelectric ceramic has a finer grain structure for very low lateral coupling (kp). This makes Nova3B ideal for high frequency piezoelectric transducers used in medical imaging, therapy, HIFU, and NDT applications, where high thickness mode conversion is needed. Low lateral coupling with a high Curie temperature (TC = 350°C), makes this piezoelectric ceramic material suitable for high sensitivity (V/Pa), high temperature hydrophones and receivers.
